Privacy Principles

Your privacy is very important to us. At CinemaViva we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

Website Visitors

Like most website owners, CinemaViva collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. CinemaViva’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our website visitors use our site. Comments and other content submitted to Akismet anti-spam service are not saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”)

CinemaViva respects the intellectual property rights of others. Per the DMCA, CinemaViva will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement on the Site if submitted to  CinemaViva’s Copyright Agent as described below. Upon receipt of a notice alleging copyright infringement, CinemaViva will take whatever action it deems appropriate within its sole discretion, including removal of the allegedly infringing materials and termination of access for repeat infringers of copyright protected content.

If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been violated by CinemaViva or by a third party who has uploaded materials to our website, please provide the following information to the designated Copyright Agent listed below:

CinemaViva may request additional information before removing any allegedly infringing material. In the event CinemaViva removes the allegedly infringing materials, CinemaViva will immediately notify the person responsible for posting such materials that CinemaViva removed or disabled access to the materials. CinemaViva may also provide the responsible person with your email address so that the person may respond to your allegations.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, CinemaViva may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in CinemaViva’s sole discretion.
