Local Expertise at San Diego Event Venues
Familiarity with a venue can make a real difference on event day. We regularly film at the San Diego Convention Center and leading hotels and event spaces throughout Downtown San Diego, La Jolla, Carlsbad, and the surrounding areas. Knowing load-in rules, room layouts, in-house AV coordination, and timing constraints helps us work efficiently and avoid surprises, especially on tight schedules or multi-day events.
Coming in from out of town?
We're the local crew that removes the guesswork. We know the venues, coordinate with your on-site team, and handle production logistics, so you're not managing unknowns from across the country.
Need interviews covered on the side?
Production companies managing large shows often bring us in to handle on-site interview filming in breakout rooms. We run it independently so your team stays focused on the main floor.

Some events require more than basic recording. When room layouts are complex, lighting conditions vary, or presentations involve multiple speakers and sources, we provide the technical support needed to capture everything clearly and consistently.
We work with professional cameras, audio systems, and lighting tools designed for long sessions, low-light environments, and multi-speaker programs, so your content remains usable both in the room and after the event.
If you also need professional photography , we can provide candid event coverage and headshots during the same production, helping you avoid managing multiple vendors.
Hybrid & Remote Audience Support
When remote access is part of the plan, we can coordinate hybrid or streamed components alongside event recording. Platform options and workflows are outlined separately on our Live Streaming Services page.
On-Site AV Coordination
For events that require additional AV support, we assist with coordination, setup, and technical execution alongside venue staff and in-house teams. This keeps presenters focused and ensures the technical side stays organized and under control throughout the event.
Audio & Video Support
Need screens, mics, or switching in the room along with event video coverage? We can coordinate conference AV support as part of the plan, so you are not juggling vendors on show day.

Common Questions About Event Video Production
If you don't see your question here, reach out directly and we'll get you a straight answer.
What happens if the schedule changes last minute?
We understand that events can be unpredictable, and our team is flexible when timelines shift. Significant last-minute changes may incur additional charges depending on crew availability and setup adjustments. For details, see our Policies and Procedures.
Can you cover a multi-day conference or summit?
Yes. Multi-day programs are a regular part of what we do. We can handle full days across multiple rooms, manage crew rotations, and deliver organized footage and edits for each day. Our Conference Pro package is designed for exactly this. See our conference video production page for details.
What's the typical turnaround time for edited video?
Standard turnaround for a highlight reel is 3–5 business days. If you need a same-day or next-day cut for social media or post-event promotion, we can plan for that upfront. Our Blackmagic cameras can upload footage to the cloud while we're still recording, which means a same-day editor can begin cutting before the event even ends. This requires a reliable internet connection at the venue, so we confirm that during pre-production. Turnaround is discussed and locked in before the event so there are no surprises.
What social media formats do you deliver?
We deliver cuts sized for the platforms your team actually uses. That includes horizontal edits for LinkedIn and YouTube, vertical cuts for Instagram Reels and TikTok, and square formats for general social use. We discuss the delivery list during your planning call so everything is ready when the event wraps.
Do you provide sponsor or partner-specific video clips?
Yes. If your event has sponsors or brand partners, we can capture their signage, activations, and branded moments throughout the day and cut dedicated clips for activation reporting. This is something to note during pre-production so we build it into the shot plan.
Can you film breakout sessions or individual rooms in addition to the main stage?
Yes, with the right crew size. For programs that need simultaneous coverage in multiple rooms, we scale the team accordingly. We map this out during planning based on your schedule and room count so nothing falls through the cracks.
How do you structure pricing?
We provide clear, upfront estimates so there are no surprises. Every quote outlines what's included—crew, gear, editing time—and any optional add-ons are discussed in advance. Our standard packages are listed on this page, and custom quotes are available for anything outside those tiers.
Do you require deposits or contracts?
Yes. We typically require a signed agreement and a deposit to reserve your event date. This confirms crew availability and gives both sides clarity going in.
Can you handle live streaming and recording at the same time?
Absolutely. We're equipped to live stream while simultaneously capturing high-quality footage for post-event editing or archiving. Platform options and streaming workflows are covered on our Live Streaming Services page.
What if I don't have a run of show ready yet?
That's fine. Many clients come to us with a general idea rather than a finalized schedule. We'll help you work through the filming priorities during your planning call. As the run of show develops, we update the production plan accordingly.
